Hello,
Not sure if this is the right place, maybe mods can move it if not?
Anyway, tenant left with rent arrears, gave forwarding address, was supposed to make payments didn't. I applied to small claims court, date set, judgement awarded. Tenant did not respond or attend court but all documents I sent were recorded delivery and they were received.
I then applied for attachment of earnings order as I had his employers details. Tenant again did not replay to N56. Bailiff sent to home - apparently he no longer lived there (it was his mothers house). Employer also did not respond to court order for salary information. Bailiffs attended for the information - he no longer works for him. Arrgh!
Tenant has just tweeted a pic of himself, in his staff uniform, outside his new place of work (durr!). I am going to treapply for attachment of earnings order - do I have to pay again? Im not 100% sure that this isn't just a Christmas job and he might be off again in January (he also tweeted that he'd just been to a job interview in London). Any advice on how I can find this kind of thing out? I can see on the court website I can pay to find out if he has any other debts but not much else.
TLDR; do you have to pay for second go at attachment of earnings order?
P.S. to any tenants on the run, don't forget to set your twitter account to private as well as facebook
