Back again with another question.
At my LVT, the tribunal said "There is no provision for the landlord to charge interest for late payment of service charges. However, such a charge would be included within the definition of an administration fee and a reasonable figure would therefore be recoverable."
This comment confused me at the time and still does !, I cant recall ever reading something similar, surely a charge allowing interest on late payment charges is something completely different from an administration charge ?
They appear to be saying that interest charges are not recoverable but then again they are ! (I am convinced now that the lease doesn't allow admin charges full stop but this doesnt appear to have been acknowledged during the hearing but they were reduced significantly).
