I have a friend that is renting a house with a year contract, today he went into the letting agents to sign a new contract and they have told him the landlord wants his house back so he wont be signing the new contract and he has two weeks in which to move out.
No notice's have been served and my friend is panicking as he has a new born. Am I right in assuming that the agency need to serve S21 first giving the date the landlord wants possession (one month notice) and then if he doesn't leave apply for a court order
