Hi this is more a tenant question as my daughter private rents.
As a new landlord ourselves we beleive that a gas certificate should cover all gas appliances and they should all be checked and tested, is that correct?.
The gas certificate my daughter had when she moved in didnt have the gas fire on and over a year later (was late) a new certiciate has been issued and again gas fire is not on it, she has only just noticed this as her landlord wants to increase her rent and wants my daughter to sign a new contract which my daughter doesnt want to do as it will tie her into another 6mths and they are not the best landlords when it comes to getting stuff done. :(-:
