Bexley council does a scheme, a lease from landlord for 3/5 years and guaranteed rental. Recently bought a 2 bed house and they pay about 815 for a 2 bed house and about 760 for a flat. But you have to deal with T's and get support from Bexley. I feel I could easily get about 850 for the house but taking into consideration guaranteed rent, the 815 is almost as good as the 875/900.
Been also looking at Hyde Housing but can't find their rates but they also require consent from the freeholder - i got the hosue cheap as its a leasehold but sure if the freeholder will consent and I don't think Bexley council asks for that.
My friend told me that near the house we bought the council is knocking down a run down estate, not sure re spelling but its Lanner Road Estate - and those that live there are being put into short term rentals.
Has anyone dealt with Bexley or Hyde and how much does Hyde pay and i think Hyde looks after the property as well at no cose.
