What is an acceptable interim inspection?

This is my first post, but I hope someone can assist.

I'm renting in Scotland, midway through a one year agreement. I have had one inspection already, when the landlord seemed happy with the condition of the flat. He has now contacted saying he wants another inspection in a couple of weeks. He has also arranged viewings for the evening of the inspection. That is all fine and I have agreed to this. However, he has now sent an inspection review form, which lists the things I am required to do prior to his visit, with items such as clean the grout and shower curtain, clean oven and microwave inside and out, clean windows inside and out, remove any marks from paintwork, etc., and stating that he will be checking under beds and cupboards.

This seems an unreasonable list of demands, more like an end of tenancy inspection, and I think the landlord just wants me to do the deep cleaning as he has prospective new tenants viewing.

I was planning to contact him to state that he will have access as agreed, and that the flat will be clean and tidy, but he cannot insist on everything listed to be completed, confirming that they will of course be when I move out.

Any thoughts would be welcome.
