Section 21 expiry date with a break clause?

Hi all,

I hope I'm not asking a question already answered, although I have had a look through recent threads.

I have agreed to give a tenant a 12-month AST with a 6-month break clause. What expiry date should I put on the S21 notice - 6 or 12 months from the start of the agreement?
