Deposit: Please release me....

Hi all,

I recently moved out of a property on 12.04.13. I was renting with an estate agency. They advised they won't discuss deposit settle until 'all issues have been resolved' - I've just today dismounted a sat dish that I had up on the wall. How soon can I request information on my deposit, a figure for example.

Is there a legally binding period when the estate agency has to release info on this, i.e. does it start from my move out date (12.04.13) or from today when I removed the dish?
