Hi everyone, I am a HB private tenant with a rolling shorthold tenancy. My previous contract expired so now have a month by month tenancy. When I initially took on the tenancy the landlord wanted a guarantor for the purpose of her insurance. My dad was quite willing to do this, however over the last month he has become increasingly ill and now unable to work. This has left me with no guarantor, do I have a duty to inform the landlord? (I assume so), how would this impact on her insurance? finally would this be grounds for eviction/notice?
