Hello,
I have openly entered into being a Guarantor for a friend, fully understanding what I have signed up for....however... the tenancy has started a short while ago, and there are two things:
1/ I only ever signed a 'Guarantor Reference Application', and not a 'Guarantor Agreement'....are they one in the same thing?
2/ I noticed only today that the 'proposed start date' on the reference application is blank, though it does have everything else filled in correctly.
I am wanting to be above board with this, and not looking to get out of any agreement: I just want to make sure everything is correct. Does 1/ mean I am not actually a guarantor (as they are different). If they are the same then does 2/ means the contract is not enforceable?
Thanks in advance.
