I have tenants in receipt of hb. Things have gone pear shaped over the last 12 months and I recently served a section 8 notice because of substantial rent arrears.
That notice expires on 30/05/13. I receive direct payment of their hb, but this doesn't cover the rent. I have found out that they have advised the council that they are moving in with parents on 01/06/13. They haven't told me yet - they may not tell me!
If they do not say anything to me and I go to the property on 02/06/13, can I assume they have vacated? Or do I still complete court papers for possession? Am I correct in thinking that if they do tell me and hand over keys, I can safely enter my property?
Will I complete an online form for rent arrears if they have gone?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
