I've had a leak from both chimneys in a flat i rent since September 2012 and it took the management agency 6 months to do anything. Once they finaly sent someone to fix it i asked when they would claim on the insurance and redecorate the flat and they said it was wear & tear and i wouldn't be able to claim on the building insurance.
I then had to fork out £450 on getting it redecorated only to find out today that all the leaks are back.
Can anyone give me some advice as to what to do and to help me draft a letter to sent to the freeholder?
