I used a different, recently qualified, GasSafe plumber for latest GSC. He reported the built in gas hob was 'not compliant' as it was connected to gas supply by flexible bayonet cooker hose and not rigid copper pipework.
The hob (T property) was fitted several years ago and was included in each GSC since. (previousinspector).
I gave permission for nec work. Was new guy corrct, gouging for work or just confused with changing gas connection Regs?
Are the Regs different for built in gas hob as opposed to free-standing gas cooker?
