Hi there,
I understand that in some contracts there can be break clauses in case things go wrong so you can back out of the contract and not have to pay the full amount required.
Please could someone explain this line to me, as I have a feeling it may be this:
1. To give the Landlord at least two calendar months notice in writing to terminate the tenancy such notice not to expire earlier than the end of the fixed term of the tenancy.
Does this mean, in say a 12 month contract, that I am able to terminate a tenancy before the contract ends, say 6 months, as long as I give 2 months notice?
Or is it simply saying I need to give 2 months notice after the 12 months, if I were to carry on living there?
Thanks
