Using Excel Spreadsheets! Help!

Hi Guys

I’m currently managing properties using a excel spreadsheet.

I’m looking to make life a bit easier by having certain dates on the spreadsheet change a different colour or show some sort of alert when the dates get closer to the expiry date.

For Example

I have a list of 10 gas safety certificate dates that expire at various different times throughout the year. I would like the date to turn RED when the current date is 30 days away from the date the gas safety cert expires. Or another form a pop up / alert would be good aswell.

I hope the above is clear. I would want to implement the same thing for a tenancy coming to an end or when I need to do an inspection.

Ideally if someone could send me a link or even provide the formula that’s required that would be great.

P.S – I knew there is a lot of software packages out there that can do this, that maybe an option in the future but I would just like to stick the excel spreadsheets for now.
