Hi
What's the case with landlords "moving in acceptances" before your Housing Benefit claim has been "approved" e.g. it typically takes 2 wks for a claim to be processed but in reality 23 calender days. But if a tenant needed a place urgently within that time and were to pay 1 months rent in advance as a deposit in full, would a landlord hand over the keys for that tenant to move in to the property whilst the claim is still in the post.
Assuming of course the claim is back dated from the official move in date.
