Hi
I'm a student just moving out of a houseshare and wanted some advice.
Over the course of the tenancy I put up curtains in my room (drilled holes, used wall plugs and supplied fittings, it was all secure) and some pictures using picture hooks. At the end of the tenancy the lettings agent asked me to make good the holes. I filled them, sanded them flat to the surrounding wall and painted them. There were several holes and the total area affected was no bigger than an A4 piece of paper. The paint was not a perfect match so I accept that it needs repainting, but the landlord contacted the agency and wants to charge me £65 for this. I feel it's an unreasonable amount for such a small area.
Any opinions? Feels like they're just trying to get more money out of me as apart from that we kept the house in perfect condition.
