Alloawable expenses on a non furnished property

Reading this forum several questions relating to this topic have been asked, but I am not sure they answer my specific questions so apologies for adding another question to the list.

I own a flat which has been let out for 13 year, 11 years to one tenant. The tenant moved out and considerable work had to be done to bring the property up to standard. This included replacing the kitchen, bathroom and windows. I have spoken to HMRC and understand that the work carried out is classified as repairs and is therefore allowed to be offset.

The property is let unfurnished, apart from curtains, carpets, washing machine and fridge. As part of getting the property up to standard I have had to replace all window dressings as the previous ones had perished (they were left in the property when I moved out prior to letting it 13 years ago and I have never claimed for them).

Can I claim for the new window dressings (blinds/curtains/poles)?

Can I claim for the bedroom carpet that was laid down 11 years ago and has become worn in places?

All replacements are of a similiar quailty (in fact the curtains are probably inferior as the previous ones were made to measure and the new ones are ready made).

Thank you very much in advance for your help.
