Dear All,
I had written to the tenant following her surrendering of the property to advise that I will be taking legal action to pursue her for rent arrears of £3670 and damages to the property of £1200.
The tenant has written back offering a payment of £2000 next week and further repayments of £500 on a monthly basis thereafter.
This tenant has broken her word continuously so I am reluctant to trust her.
I am also concerned that allowing a schedule of repayments will affect my claim should I need to pursue legally later on.
What I would like to do is pursue legal action whilst also accepting payments in a way that wont undermine the claim.
Advice anyone?!
Thanks as always,
