Hi everyone, my name is Nicky and I'm new to the forum.
I have joined as I'm looking for a little advice and you seem like the right people to ask.
My partner is considering letting his property out. We have never done this before and it seems like a minefield. He has some potential tenants lined up (they are known to his family). We were just hoping someone could point us towards a good new landlord guide for advice on what we need to do. Also, the new tenants will be receiving LHA (after reading online it seems this is the new version of HB). Are there any additional requirements etc. as a result of the rent being paid by DSS? Do they have to inspect the property etc..
Any advice or pointing in the right direction would be very much appreciated.
