I have a property the has been let out for 6 months or so and a week or so before the property was let out I put the property up for sale.
Are there any problems in doing this?
I'm selling through an alternative agent to the agent who lets the property.
I have just confirmed to the agent I let the property through that I wish to sell the property now the tenant is out. They have responded by telling me I should not have had the property listed as for sale whilst a tenant was in the property. The letting agent knew it was for sale when they put the tenant in - and we had a discussion around that at the time.
