Quote:

"A supermarket" (Advert) focuses on a frazzled-looking mum, whose reward for single-handedly masterminding festivities, is a rather uncomfortable-looking pouffe at the dinner table.

"Behind every great Christmas there's a Mum," says the voiceover.

Sexist? The "A Supermarket" campaign has attracted 191 complaints to the Advertising Standards Authority. Writing in the Independent, Becca Day Preston calls the advert "insultingly retrograde and simplistic".
That's 191 people who are single or cyclists, or are incredibly plain and dull masquerading as cutting edge and drink in "Shodo". And have no real friends. Because thinking like that chased them away. And they therefore spend all their time scrutinising TV adverts. And no wonder the independent is only 20p :(rofl):

And I am the chap who will do the bulk of the work on Xmas Day because I am lovingly told that I am better at it.
