Could anyone advise me where I stand? My clinic is above a restaurant in an old Victorian building. A new owner has taken on the restaurant & currently refurbing the place. When they removed the suspended ceiling, I pointed out holes in the original 'proper' ceiling which can allow food smells to come into my office through various gaps in floor boards etc.
They assured me they would plug any holes, however it has become obvious by the amount of MDF dust, acrid paint smell & now noticable draught coming through all the gaps that not only did they not plug the holes, they may have created additional ones.
My worry is that food smells will come into my clinic all the time they are open!
I do not know how to approach this, I do not want to get into a dispute with new neighbours, but cannot carry on like this.
