Should I buy a property next to a restaurant and pub?

I've seen a flat I want to buy but I have one reservation. It's next to a bar/restaurant. When viewing, I noticed a strong smell of food which had filtered in to the property even though all the windows were close.

Would resale of a property next to a bar/restaurant be a problem?
