One of our companies suppliers has agreed to allow us to use some of their work free of charge in exchange for a 'donation' to a cancer charity for each product sold. We like the idea so much that, as a marketing tool, we want to extend that to a number of other products.
Unfortunately, no one wants the money. Had a meeting with MacMillan - details sent to legal dept, never to be seen again. Cancer Research UK said a straight no thanks and both CLIC Sergant and a local Childrens Cancer charity have been conspicuous by their silence.
No one has said it, but it is obvious they don't want an associaion with a nasty company that throws people out of their homes - even though our eviction products are not ever going to be part of this promotion and we try to avoid labling ourselves as an 'eviction company'.
Can anyone suggest a cancer-focused charity that might want our money?
