I am the administrator for an impoverished Church Charity which has a small portfolio of property. Our former treasurer used to use a garage belonging to the charity until his death when useage passed to his widow. She (aged 80 or so)has now given up driving. However she still pays us £120 a year to let her son store his classic car in the garage. We now wish to reposess the garage. Do we have to give compensation (if so - how much ?). Is there a process which we can follow without seeking expensive legal advice, if so where can it be accessed? Many thanks.
