Can i offset my £6000 tax bill with a van please?

Hi I can not get hold of my accountant until tuesday next week and was
wondering if anyone knows if I can offset my new £6000 tax bill by
purchasing another van please,for my business.

I have been running around in a very good merc vito 2001 plate and it is
very very reliable but showing signs of its age now and would like to
replace this with another vito second hand of course so that I don,t have
to pay the £6000 tax this seems to make sense to me but is this correct
please?
