Good afternoon
Where does a tenant stand if their landlord decides to start building a new property on the grounds of their rental property? The tenant has lost part of the garden (included in the let) to building works. Parts of the rental property are also being used for storage of building materials, so are currently inaccessible.
What would people recommend the tenant does in this situation? Even when the works are completed, the tenant will have lost part of the garden...
The tenant has approached the landlord but without success and the building works are already well underway.
Thanks
