How do you generate an income from your portfolio?

Hi everyone,

I am interested to learn if there are any private landlords on this forum that generate their income in ways other than what may be considered a usual rental property?

For example, renting to care leavers, people with learning dificulties (assisted living), sheltered accommodation etc.

If so, do you work with particular organisations? How do you go about finding if their is a need in your area for this type of accommodation?

Any thoughts on this subject are welcome.
