Hi all,
Not entirely sure if this is something you can help with.
I live in a block of 6 flats. I own my flat, pay my own mortgage etc.
Out of the 6 flats I believe 3 of them are owned by a single landlord and they have tenants in them.
My direct neighbor is one of these tennants, and i am having huge problems with them. I have mentioned a couple of issues to them but they dont take any notice. I am not one for confrontation so wanted to get some advice of what can be done.
I wondered whether the landlord of that property is obligated to "keep their tenants in check". For example...recently the communal areas were freshly painted. Today i found the two kids from next door playing football in the hall. Scuffs and dirt all over the walls.
I will probably contact the management company for the block as well, but wondered from a landlords perspective, what would you do, if anything, and do you have obligations particularly when putting tennants in a block where there are property owners.
Many many thanks for any info
Dan
