Am I still a lodger?

Hello!

Thank you for reading my question.
I have been a lodger in a house since approximately 6 months. Now the landlord has moved out and there is a new tenant living in her old room. I was wondering if that makes me a tenant now and whether the lodger contract we once signed is still valid.
