Renting to family member

hi -

I purchased a second home (no mortgage, new build) with the intention to rent to the general public.

In the meantime my daughter and her family are between houses so i said they could live in my second home and pay rent etc. Both my daughter and her husband are not claiming any benefits (both in full time work). This arrangement will be for about six months until they find a suitable house to buy.

Do i need to do anything such as:

Tenancy agreement?
Get appliance/ gas/ electricity checks etc?

Anything else i need to be aware of?
